Direct Admission in BMS College of Engineering Bangalore

Every year, BMS College of Engineering sees far more applicants than seats, especially for Computer Science and allied branches. Most B.E. seats fill through KCET and COMEDK UGET counselling, but direct admission in BMS College of Engineering Bangalore is also possible through the management quota for eligible candidates. A few management quota seats are available in selected branches each year, and the qualifying eligibility criteria still apply.

Admission Routes to BMSCE

Through KCET: Karnataka students appear for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, and seats are allotted through KEA counselling based on rank. This is the most economical route, with government-prescribed fees.

Through COMEDK UGET: Students from across India can apply through the COMEDK entrance test, with counselling run by the COMEDK consortium. COMEDK fees are higher than the KCET route but lower than management quota in most branches.

Through JEE Main: BMSCE also considers JEE Main scores for a portion of its B.E. seats.

Through management quota: Candidates who meet the 10+2 eligibility criteria can seek direct admission in BMSCE Bangalore under the management quota, where seats are limited and allotted on a first-come basis in most years. Indicative annual management quota fees range from about Rs 2 lakh for branches like Civil and Mechanical to Rs 3.5-7 lakh for Computer Science and Engineering. GCS Online tracks current-year seat availability and fee changes, so call +91 6366615555 before you decide.
