How to Get MD-MS Admission through Management Quota?
MD-MS Admission through Management Quota
A research functioning program through which a student can attain high level knowledge based on modern innovations which are taught by skilled elites who train the students in their respective area of study in order to develop precise ethics. The MD-MS program is a mentor-based course which allows a student to be a part of professional design and analysis over a period of five to six years depending on the stream of study they wish to take up.
MS is Postgraduate Degree in General Surgery while MD is the Postgraduate Degree in General Medicine. MS is for those fields where more of surgical expertise and skills are needed whereas, MD is more of non-surgical expertise, but there are some branches where surgery can also be part of MD. The prospects of MS and MD are generally the same and the only specific difference is that, a person who completes MS becomes a surgeon while the one wills to pursue an MD turns into a physician. A physician is more of a phone with a single sim card slot whereas a surgeon is a phone with a dual sim card slot, which means to say that a physician cannot be a surgeon, while a surgeon can work in place of a physician with more amount of study of medicine and knowledge.
The other possibilities of an MD-MS graduate are that, if he or she is good and skilled after the postgraduate degree, one can join a medical college as teaching faculty, start own practice; can apply for the job in the government health sector or corporate hospitals. Both the branches have good future prospects but it matters about a person’s interest and what their aptitude is. However, in India an almost equal number of students opts for Medicine and Surgery. Thus, on the whole, both the branches have their own limitations and benefits and it purely depends on the candidate’s choice.
Popular specializations in MD & MS are as follows;

It clearly does not mean that securing the minimum required percentile will ensure an MD-MS seat. The Candidates will be required to participate in the counseling process at the national and state level post which the admission will be taken on merit and preference basis.
The usual procedure for MD-MS that is post-graduation seat is – Issue of online application form through which a student or candidate aspiring for higher education has to apply. Only those candidates who have managed to secure the least minimum required percentile in the entrance exam and who in time fill the application form will be considered eligible for the further admission process.

Soon after the application is verified a “MERIT LIST” will be put up on the online website with the names of the students who are successfully qualified after which the document verification process will take place.
Only those candidates whose documents are successfully verified will be included in the verified list and will be considered eligible for counseling. The counseling will be held in online mode and will start with the mock round which will provide candidates with a tentative seat allotment as per their score.
A total of three rounds of counseling will be held and an additional mop-up round of counseling will be conducted subject to the vacancy of seats in offline mode. For 50% All India Seats, the centralized counseling will be managed by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Government of India.
